(INDONESIAN LANGUAGE FOR FOREIGNERS)

A. Elementary Level (BIPA 1)
B. Intermediate Level (BIPA 2)
C. Advanced Level (BIPA 3)
II. PROGRAMES AND LENGTH OF STUDY
Every year, BIPA Program is divided into three terms, which are :
- JANUARY - APRIL
- MAY - AUGUST
- SEPTEMBER - DECEMBER
III. ADMISSION PROCEDURES
A. Basic Requirement for Applicant
To be qualified to attend BIPA Program, the applicant must graduate from High School level or equivalent, shown by their Diploma.
B. Application Procedures :
1. International Students Living Abroad
To study at BIPA Program, the applicant needs a LIMITED STAY PERMIT (STUDENT VISA 6 MONTHS or 12 MONTHS).
A. LIMITED STAY PERMIT (FOR 6 MONTHS)
This visa is given to the Applicant who is willing to learn at BIPA Program for 1 semester.
B. LIMITED STAY PERMIT FOR 12 MONTHS)
This visa is given to the Applicant who is willing to learn at BIPA Program for 2 - 3 semesters (1 year).
To apply for student visa, the Applicant must send these following documents to BIPA Office via post or email three (3) months before the program started.
Document needed to apply student visa :
1. Student Visa Application Form
2. Application Letter
3. Applicant's Curriculum Vitae (CV)
4. Photocopy color of the Applicant's Diploma, Transcript, and Academic Certificate.
5. Photocopy color whole page of Applicant's valid Passport (minimum valid date 18 months when the Applicant is applying for Student Visa).
6. One recent passport photograph (3x4 cm), 3 recent photograph (4x6 cm)
7. Statement from Hospital or physican stating that the Applicant is physically and mentally healthy.
8. A letter from Indonesian Embassy in Applicant's country or from Applicant's Embassy in Indonesia stating the Applicant's nationality and willingness to learn at BIPA Program, University of Indonesia.
9. A letter from the Applicant's sponsor or guarantor which stated their responsibilities to finance all the Applicant's expenses while studying at BIPA Program.
10. A letter which stated the Applicant's willingness to obey the Indonesian rules.
11. A letter which stated the applicants willingness to obey the regulation in BIPA Program.
BIPA Office will forward the application to the Indonesian Ministry of Education. After the Ministry of Education issue a Study Permit Letter BIPA Office will process telex in the Directorate General of Immigration. With the study permit and telex letter, the Applicant can apply the student Visa at the Indonesian Embassy.
BIPA Office can cancel the application if the Applicant fails to get study permit letter from the Indonesian Ministry of Education.
Within 7 days of Applicant's arrival in Indonesia, the Applicant must report to BIPA office. BIPA Office will issue a recommendation letter for the Applicant to apply.
1. KITAS & MERP - Process in IMMIGRATION OFFICE.2. STM - process in POLICE OFFICE
3. SKPPS and SKTT - process in MAYOR OFFICE
NOTES :
For student who will not continue to the next program or have graduated BIPA 3, the student must return the KITAS and SKPPS / SKTT:
- KITAS returned to the Immigration Office for the EPO (Exit Permit Only)
- SKPPS / SKTT returned to the Mayor's Office
KITAS holder or Visit Visa holder can apply directly to BIPA Program by bringing this following document :
1. Applicant's form
2. Photocopy color of the Applicant's Diploma, Transcript, and Academic Certificate
3. Photocopy color passport and
4. Photocopy color KITAS
5. One resent Photograph (3x4)
IV. WHEN AND WHERE TO APPLY

Monday - Friday from 08.30 - 16.00
Note : Registration is closed when all available classes are full. Tuition fee are non-refundable under any circumtances. Those who have paid and given bank receipt to BIPA Office on the determined date will be registered as BIPA students.
